Radiohead, Newcastle University, 28 Sept 1994

A nice early-era radiohead show from Newcastle University. The shows were timed to co-incide with the iron lung ep release, preceding the commercial sucess of "the bends" ... only "my iron lung", "just" and "the bends" were previewed, all other material was from the first album. Nice.

Setlist was used by Ed O'brien, obtained at end of the show.

Support from the julie dolphin was good - so much so I saw them in London at the garage later that year

Beady Eye, Newcastle O2, 20 Apr 11

Liam Gallaghers' Beady Eye stormed the O2 Academy at Newcastle last night, and despite being close to the front it was tricky to get decent images as the sell out crowd were bouncing! Great to see this ex-oasis line up in a small venue, I suspect next time it'll be less intimate...

Invariably the centre of photo attention was Liam - As no-relation Frank Gallagher says....when he grows up he'll be a staaarrr.....
